    Evan Altorfer of Portland, Oregon is a sophomore at Oregon State University studying Civil Engineering. “My interest in the Civil and Construction fields stems from work I have done for my grandfather’s small construction company.” Evan is very involved with the Adventist Christian Fellowship club at OSU, and he is currently acting as the Club Secretary. Evan enjoys playing a variety of intramural sports. In Evan’s spare time, he loves cheering on the Beavers at different sporting events. He also enjoys hiking and rafting.

    Sara Ashback of Ridgefield, Washington is a freshman at Montana State University, majoring in Civil Engineering and math. She is involved in the Honors College, Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, and Tuesday Nights Together youth group. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers, and is currently working in a concrete lab. Outside of school, Sara enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and baking.

    Sade Beasley of Portland, Oregon is a sophomore at Oregon State University. Sade' is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She has an interest in pursuing a career in heavy construction as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic after shadowing engineers working on the Salt Creek Tunnel Project on Hwy 58 during a National Transportation Summer Institute (NTSI) Program. Sade’ works as a Community Outreach Coordinator at the Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center and is a mentor for the NTSI program for young women of color in high school who have an interest in STEM studies upon graduating. Sade’ enjoys drawing, painting, relaxing with loved ones, or indulging in Rooibos tea.

    Chris Duty of Portland, Oregon is a junior at Oregon State University majoring in Construction Engineering Management. “I have always been interested in working in the construction industry. As a child I always enjoyed tearing things apart around the house and trying to figure out how they work and if I could make them more efficient when I put them back together.” Chris is the President of the Associated General Contractors Student Chapter at Oregon State, and a member of the 2014 ASC 1st place Marine Estimating Team, American Society of Civil Engineers and an OSU Athletic Marketing Intern. During his free time, Chris enjoys racing motocross with his family, attending country western dances, and doing internships to gain experience in the industry.

Colby is an aspiring outdoorsman, he spends a lot of his free time hunting and hiking. Colby also enjoys playing sports and is interested in fitness. Colby is the president of his Fraternity, Phi Delta Theta and a member of the Oregon State chapter of American Society of Civil Engineers.

    Wiley Wolfe of Portland, Oregon is a sophomore at Oregon State University majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Oceanography.  He hopes to use his degree to better understand the impacts of underwater construction on water quality, and to find ways to improve these processes. Wiley is currently working in an OSU lab researching aquatic chemical sensors and for the Honors College as the Trip and Activities Coordinator. Wiley enjoys the outdoors and playing volleyball with the Oregon State Men’s Club Volleyball team. This summer, Wiley will continue to research aquatic chemical sensors during an internship at the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Research Institute.
